RWC I Am The Dream (BHF) was foaled in 1998. Sired by WGC sire Attache’s Born Believer, she is out of Hall of Fame broodmare Dream A Dream. A winner at the 2000 Lexington Junior League Horse Show in the two-year-old fine harness division, RWC I Am The Dream (BHF) was the 2001 Reserve World’s Champion in the ASHA National Three-Year-Old Three-Gaited Futurity. She is a full sister to 1995 ASHA Two-Year-Old Fine Harness Futurity World’s Champion and multiple World’s Champion Park Mare A Daydream Believer (BHF) (dam of WGC CHCastledream, WGC CHHS Daydream’s Heads Up, WCC CHHS Dignitary, WCC HS Decorum, WC HS Daydream’s Believe In Me, WC HS Daydream’s Fashionista, WC HS Daydream’s Celebrity, RWC Dream Castle, RWC CHHS First Day, WC HS Daydream’s Perfect Gentleman and RWC sire Castle Vision, etc.), WC CHVegas Dreams, and RWC Keep Dreaming, and a half sister to Hall of Fame broodmare Man What A Dream.
Bred to WCC sire Only Man In Town, RWC I Am The Dream (BHF) produced stakes winner It’s All About George. She was added to the Hagan Saddlebreds broodmare band in 2007, and under Hagan’s ownership, she was bred to WGC sire WC Sir William Robert, producing multiple Ladies Three-Gaited World’s Champion of Champions CHHS Baby Steps. Bred to multiple WGC sire Undulata’s Nutcracker, RWC I Am The Dream (BHF) produced WC HS I’m Hot Wired, WCC HS I’m A Dreamer, RWC HS I’m A Big Deal, WC HS Honor Thy Mother, and HS Ima Cool Girl (dam of WC HS As Lovely As Ever). She is also the dam of RWC HS I’m Dreaming The Blues, HS Dream Date (dam of WC Going Steady), etc. RWC I Am The Dream (BHF) is the product of the Sultan’s Spartan mare x Attache’s Born Believer cross that not only produced her world’s champion winning full siblings, noted above, but also WC CHHe’s Real Bad. A look at her four-generation pedigree shows she descends from a female line of good producers. Her full sister and her half sister are in the Broodmare Hall of Fame, as well as her first, third and fourth dams. Her dam, Dream A Dream (BHF), has no show record. Neither does her second dam, Dream Waltz Supreme (the only full sister to WC sire Supreme Spirit). However, her third dam, Hall of Fame broodmare CHDream Waltz (full sister to WGC sire WGC CHWing Commander, WC sire RWCC Private Contract and WC CHLover’s Lane), was not only a multiple world’s and reserve world’s champion in the five-gaited juvenile, ladies, amateur and open divisions, but also the 1956 Five-Gaited World’s Grand Champion.
There is just one Hall of Fame broodmare in her sire’s four generation pedigree but she is a good one – the great producer of five-gaited horses Carol Trigg (BHF). RWC I Am The Dream (BHF) is a classic example of the “golden cross” of CHWing Commander x CHValley View Supreme. The cross, which appears in her fourth generation, is known for producing the beauty and elegance of CHValley View Supreme combined with the gameness and motion of CHWing Commander. She is line bred to the powerful RWC CHAnacacho Shamrock through WC sire WC Chief Of Greystone on her top side and WGC CHDream Waltz (BHF) on her bottom side. A prolific mare thanks to her owner’s interest in embryo transplants, she has 21 registered foals on the ground at the age of 25. An interesting side note – Scott’s daughter, Sara, came up with the name I Am The Dream years before her father purchased her for breeder George Knight to continue to play on the “dream” theme that he used in most of the names of Dream A Dream (BHF)’s offspring. Sara had no way of knowing that her father would one day play an important role in the breeding success of RWC I Am The Dream (BHF).
