WCC Smoke Stack needs no introduction as he is one of the most popular roadsters under saddle showing today. He is a Dutch Harness Horse and is registered as Donamite. Smoke Stack is by Dondersteen and out of Soline (a Dutch Harness/Hackney cross) by Solist. He was bred by Daniel Stoltzfoos and first showed in 2016 when he competed in the Dutch Fine Harness division as well as in roadster to bike and roadster under saddle classes. In 2018, he was undefeated under saddle all year until the Kentucky State Fair. There he earned the title Open Roadster Under Saddle World’s Champion but had to settle for Reserve World’s Champion of Champions in the Roadster Under Saddle Stake. He followed up later that year with a win at the Dutch Harness Finals in the Dutch Horse Roadster Under Saddle Stake. In 2019, he was again undefeated all year in the Roadster Under Saddle division until the Kentucky State Fair where he was RWC Open Roadster Under Saddle.

In 2022, Smoke Stack earned the titles of World’s Champion of Champions in the Roadster Under Saddle division by unanimous vote and World’s Champion in the Open Roadster Under Saddle division at the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show, also by unanimous vote, and both with Scott Hagan, up.  In 2023, Smoke Stack has won the Roadster Under Saddle division, by unanimous vote, at the Shenandoah Classic with Scott Hagan, up, and the Open Roadster Under Saddle division and the Roadster Under Saddle Championship, both by unanimous vote and with Scott Hagan, up, at the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show.

“Smoke” is the coolest horse I own with the exception of WGC CH HS Daydream’s Heads Up. He has a big fan base and has helped popularize the Dutch Harness Horse breed. This handsome, black gelding is young and looks to have a long and highly successful show career ahead of him.  This horse is lightning in a bottle!
