Love On The Rocks (“Sassy”) is a 4-year-old black Pony Mare registered with the American Hackney Horse Society. She is by The Spiderman (Romeo LF x Regal’s Opal) out of Heartland Love-Me-Up (Sky King x Heartland Love-A-Flame).

Sassy was bred by and purchased from Christy Weaver Gantley of Winding Creek Farm, where Sassy remains in training with Chris Gantley.

Sassy and Chris made their show ring debut for Hagan Saddlebreds at Midwest Charity 2025 with a Reserve win in the Hackney Roadster Pony UPHA Classic 4 & Under division! Look for Sassy and Anitya Hagan to compete in the Amateur Ladies Harness Pony division at the 2026 World’s Championship Horse Show!
