Crazy Daisy (Search For Reality)

Now retired and a Hagan Saddlebreds Pensioner, Crazy Daisy is a beautifully conformed 15-year-old Standardbred mare that is registered with the United States Trotting Association as Search For Reality. She is by Psychic Spirit and her dam is Miss Hocus Pocus by Sorcerer Hanover. She easily made the transition to the show ring and appeared destined to be a top competitor in the roadster to bike division for many years. She was the 2016 Roadster To Bike Open Mare Reserve World’s Champion. In 2017, with amateur/owner Scott Hagan at the whip, she had stake wins across the country in the amateur roadster to bike division and 2017 culminated with the team being crowned Open Roadster To Bike Mare World’s Champion, a testament to this good-thinking mare’s ability to win in the deepest of open competition. A career-ending injury sidelined her permanently just days before she had a chance to compete in the 2017 Open Roadster World Championship.  In 2020, she produced HS Good To Go (Petunia) by Newtown Choclatier and in 2021, she produced HS I’ll Be Around (Clover) (pictured below) by Four Starzz Shark.  In 2023, Daisy produced her final foal by Dr. Gump.
